Loretta Stuart Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2021, at the age of 89, Loretta Stuart of Ashland, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Fred R. Kitchen and Effie Brigner Kitchen; her husband Farley E. Stuart Jr.; her sister Juanita; her brother-in-law Bill Hatfied; her brother Roger; her sister-in-law Betty Kitchen; her brothers, Louis Kitchen and Fred Kitchen Jr.; her nieces, Karen (Gene French) and Linda Christy; and her friends, Chris and Billy Joe Taylor.

She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Ellen; her son-in-law Don Chaney of Ashland; her son Rev. Farley; her daughter-in-law Terrie Stuart of Lexington; her grandchildren, Bryan Chaney (Kelli) of Knoxville, Jason Stuart (Elizabeth) of Lexington, Melissa McKenzie (Rhese) of Russell and Leah Enright (Dennis) of Virginia; her great grandchildren, Emily Alley (Zach), Seth Hall, Peyton McKenzie, Jackson, Greyson, Asher Stuart, Max Mclaughlin, Rylee and Colt Enright; and her nieces, Vicki Simpson (David) of North Carolina, Sandy Poynter (Brent) of Tennessee and Susan Taylor.

All visitors will be asked to wear a mask and social distance as outlined by the CDC.
