It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madalon J. Smith of Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on September 13, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Elwood and Francis Ethel Kouns; and her brother Danny Joe Kouns. She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Robert Smith (Sherrie) of Waynetown; and her siblings, John Anthony "Tony" Kouns of Russell, Charles Perry Kouns of Ashland, Gerald Bryan Kouns of Ashland, Richard Henderson Kouns of Ashland, Elizabeth Ann Fultz of Ashland and Connie Lucille Lambert of Ashland. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
