With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Elizabeth McGuire Wells (Ashland, Kentucky), who passed away on June 13, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George R. McGuire and Neva J. Blankenship McGuire; her husband Lewis F. Wells Sr.; and her brother George R. McGuire Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth A. Wells of Riviera Beach, James M. Wells (Molinda) of Louisville, Lewis F. Wells Jr. of Ashland and Rebecca J. Sparks (Jerry) of Ashland; her sisters, Ellen Pruitt of Louisville and Neva McGuire of Ashland; her grandchildren, Amy Wells Gillespie of Crown City, Chad A. Thacker of Chicago, Julia Sparks Wheeler of Ashland and Benjamin Sparks of Ashland; and her great grandchild Joshua Gillespie of Crown City, Ohio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
