She was predeceased by: her father Tom Brown; her siblings, Elizabeth Davis, Eloise Jackson and Andrew Grimmett; her stepson Vinson Layman, Jr.; and her husband Vinson Layman, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Richard Layman (Jane), Gary Layman (Kathy), Martha Layman and Steve Layman (Melissa); her grandchildren, Kim Layman, Becky Pack (Steve), Robin Osbourne, Erica Amato (Frank), Brandon Layman (Marissa), Ashley Layman, Alicia Layman, Haley Layman (Neal Heary), Ali Keiser (Jakob), Sara Layman and Gage Layman; her great grandchildren, Colton, Avery, Jack, Gracen, Greer, Rilee, Carlie, Marlowe and Will; and her sister Norma Grimmett Rice. She is also survived by in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
