She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Boggs and Effie Griffith Boggs; her husband Samuel D. Compton; and her siblings, Pauline Webb, Myrtle Stephens, Clotine Ciccone, James Elwood Boggs and Jesse Lee Boggs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Leasa Compton (Daniel Berkebile) of Idyllwild, CA and Gina Newton (Bob) of Danville, KY; her sister Jewell Hatton of Miamisburg, OH; her stepgranddaughter Megan Ruth (Brian); and her stepgreat-granddaughter Halee Ruth.
