She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Amos and Alpha Rosa Porter Salyers; her husband Clyde W. Hayes; her siblings, Ford, Marvin, Wayne, John Salyers and Nola Highley; her grandmother Green; and her children, Patricia Randolph (Pat) of Louisville, KY, Joyce Carol Wood of Louisville, KY, Alice May (Bill) of Hattiesburg, MS, Billie Jean Byer of Lexington, Clyde Hayes, Jr. (Helen) of Georgetown, KY, James Hayes (Teri) of Flatwoods, KY and Sheila Simpson (Jim) of Lexington, KY. She was also cherished by 23 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 21 great-great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
