With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nell Marie Sutphin of Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on December 2, 2020 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nell Marie Sutphin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobert Litteral and Clona Litteral; and her husband William Sutphin. She is survived by: her son Gregg Sutphin; her granddaughter Jessie Workman; her siblings, Mildred Monk, Curtis Litteral, Clarence Litteral, Arnold Litteral and William Litteral; her children, Rhonda Smith (Gary) of Raceland, Kim Lay of Madison, WV, David Sutphin (Jennifer) of Cornelius, NC and Sharon Nicholson (Brian) of Lexington, KY; her daughter-in-law Aimee Sutphin of Ashland; her grandchildren, Jonathan Smith, Jennifer Smith, Wilson Lay and Drew Sutphin; and her great grandchildren, Avery, Brooklynn and Noah.
While staying home during Covid she made many cross-stitch creations.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to KDMC Auxiliary, 2201 Lexington Ave., Ashland, KY 41101. Please specify the donation to be deposited in the Nell Sutphin Memorial account which will benefit the volunteers.
