Norma McKinney Meek Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma McKinney Meek (Ashland, Kentucky), who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jim" Meek; and her sister Nancy McKinney Wheeler. She is survived by: her sons, Dustin Meek (Marc Murphy) and Tyler Meek (Robyn Layne Meek); her grandchildren, James "Jay" Murphy, Peter Murphy (Jerilyn Manzella), John Murphy, Layne Meek, McKinney "Mac" Meek and Abigail "Abby" Meek; and her brother James "Jim" Crooks (Faye Crooks).

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the First United Methodist Church (1811 Carter Ave, Ashland, KY 41101). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, contributions of time and talent may be made to your children's or grandchildren's schools (just ask how!) or to any community non-profit organization that you would like to support. Monetary donations may be made to the Norma Meek Community Women's Scholarship at ACTC, 1400 College Dr., Ashland, Ky. 41101, or to the First United Methodist Church of Ashland, 1811 Carter Avenue, Ashland, Ky. 41101.
