He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alex Oscar and Esta Lee Griffith Knipp of Ashland, KK.; his wife Margaret Pennington Knipp; his daughters, Jodi Knipp Bodkin of Lexington and Tracy Knipp Quinn (Mike) of Paris; his grandchildren, J. C. Bodkin (Ashley), Scott Bodkin (Erin), Jordan Quinn, Lindsay Quinn and Rachel Cataldo (Nick); his great grandchildren, Scotty, Scarlett Bodkin, Brydon, Kentrell and Ka'Liyah; his brother Ronald Dean Knipp (Dianne) of Bloomington, IL; his former wife Marilyn; his stepdaughter Kelly Brown Williams; and his son-in-law Joe Bodkin.
