He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel C. Barnes and Gladys Gaumar Barnes; and his son Brian K. Barnes. He is survived by: his daughter Karen Phillips (Jim) of Catlettsburg; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Phillips and Ashley Fritz.
