She was predeceased by: her parents, Dock D. Dove, Jr. and Dorothy Kazee Dove; and her husband Martin Dale "Marty" Hicks. She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Sue VanHorn (Stephen) and Marci Hicks Prater (Donny); her sister Regina "Sue" Dove; and her grandchildren, Chloe Alyse VanHorn, William Martin Prater, Emma Grace VanHorn and Rylan Andrew Prater.
