She was predeceased by: her parent William Gobel; her husband Johnson; and her siblings, Edna Opal Lee, Thelma Jewel Marshall, Leonard Paul James and Ersil Faris James.
She is survived by: her parent Ola Saunders James; her daughter Retha J. Howard of Raceland, KY; her grandsons, Dustin Keith Howard (Rachael) of Winchester, KY and Derek S. Howard (Megan) of Greenup, KY; and her great grandchildren, Makenna Ann Howard, Brody Easton Howard, Jones Austin Howard and Bailey Kate Howard.
