We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2020, at the age of 81, Robert E. Prater of Ashland, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Prater and Mary McKenzie Prater; his wife Ella Dowdy Prater; his daughter Pamela Walker; and his siblings, Kathy Marshall, Violet Curtis, Danny Prater, Jessie Prater, George Prater, Roger Prater, Terry Prater and Charlie Prater.
He is survived by: his son Arthur Prater of Ashland; his brother Frank Prater of Lucasville, OH; and his close friend Doris J. Evans of Ironton, OH. He is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
