He was predeceased by : his parents, Harlan Ray Barter and Verna Tolliver Kittle. He is survived by : his sons, Roger Own Clayton Kittle, Jr. (Aleisha Spears) of Ashland and Ryan Kittle of Ashland. He is also survived by four grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Ashland Cemetery.
