He was predeceased by: his parent Orville Morrison; and his brother John Wayne Morrison. He is survived by: his parent Sarah Jordan Morrison; his wife Carolyn Conley Morrison of Ashland; his children, Samuel "Lee" Morrison (Ronda) of Flatwoods, Nancy Griffith (David) of Flatwoods and Susan Bell (Reynolds) of Lexington; his sisters, Darlene Lowe (Manuel) of Ashland and Jeanelle Roberts (James) of Ashland; and his grandchildren, Tyler Morrison, Benjamin Davis, Kendall Griffith and Zachary Griffith.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Samuels' memory may be made to Grandview Church of God or the American Heart Association.
