With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Gayle Barney of Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on May 24, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Lyons and Shirley Combs Lyons; and her husband Charles Richard Barney. She is survived by: her sons, Raymond Barney (Dawn) of Ashland, KY and Emory Barney (Cindy) of Salt Rock. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
