It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verle C. Moore (Ashland, Kentucky), born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on February 2, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Moore and Julia Miller Moore; his wife Leila Dehn Moore of Raceland; his children, Michael Moore (Karen) of Sandy, OR, David Moore of Albany, OR, Jacqueline Moore Howell (Kirk) of Sparks, NV and Karen Moore Melton (Rick) of Raceland, KY; and his sister Barbara Atkisson of Portland, OR. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
