He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Kersey and Jacqueline White Kersey. He is survived by: his wife Jamie McKenzie Kersey; his children, Justin Kersey (Dorinda Drake), Victor R. Kersey and Christy L. Meade (Matthew Davis); his grandsons, Grant Kersey and Jackson Davis; and his siblings, Allen Kersey (Carolyn Kersey) and Wanda Kersey.
