He is survived by: his parents, James Ison and Jane Huff Ison; his daughters, Martha Jane Skaggs of Mt, Teresa Arlene Kiser of Morehead, Karen Faye Thurman of Lexington and Beverly Annette Glover of Georgetown; his grandchildren, John Kiser, Anthony Thurman, Megan Glover, Paige Glover, Keilee, Ryan and Ashlee Skaggs; his stepgrandson Justin Thurman; his sister Rosetta Ison of Ashland; and his nephew Robert McMeans.
