He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawson W. Walter and Thelma Chandler Walter; his siblings, Lafayette Walter, John Paul Walters, Wendell Jack Walter, Richard B. Walter and Norida Nipp; and his brother-in-law Bob H. Nipp Sr. Mr.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Sue Walter; his sons, Grady Walter II (Melissa Kirtley) of Lexington and Dwight Walter; his daughter-in-law Melissa K. Walter; his granddaughters, Casey Marie Walter, Marley Jayne Walter of Ashland and Emma Sue Walter of Wurtland; his brother Theodore B. Walter (Patricia) of Lexington; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Jo Walter, Sylvia Walters, Jenny Walter, Carole Walter, Greg Barcello (Elmira) and Robert Barcello. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
