He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard and Addie Webb Miranda; his wives, Addie Marie Sparks Miranda and Clare Jo Hogan Miranda; and his sisters, Dorothy, Phyllis and Rosemary.
He is survived by: his children, William H. Miranda, III (Sallie) of Florida, Richard A. Miranda of Kentucky, Carl Miranda (Trudy) of Texas and Sandy Shay (Frank) of Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Richard Shawn Miranda, William H. Miranda, IV, Nathan Miranda, Chris Miranda, Mindy Miranda Thompson, Michael Shay and Brian Shay. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
