He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart Keaton and Ethel Ison Keaton; his son Gary Gene Keaton; his siblings, Lois Wamsley and Ed Keaton; and his half-brother Elmo Dickerson.
He is survived by: his wife Rosetta Keaton; his daughter Tracy Lynn Vagg of Crooksville; and his siblings, J. C. Keaton, Violet Salyers, Emily Clark, Evelyn Anderson and Phyllis McCoy. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, along with a host of extended family and friends.
