With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Jean Trent of Barbourville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hence Grubb and Marigold Smith Grubb; her daughter Donna Napier; and her siblings, Cleda Mayne, Owen, Delbert, Leo Grubb, Lena, Theena, Stella, Leon and Olin.
She is survived by: her husband Len; her son David Jackson (Amy) of Barbourville; her sister Roberta McFadden of Corbin; her grandchildren, Chris Jackson (Keisha) and Tyler Napier; and her great grandchildren, Tytus, Tucker and Teegan Jackson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of the Knox Funeral Home (325 Knox St, Barbourville, KY 40906). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
