She was predeceased by: her parents, James Deborde and Isaphene Nickell Deborde; her husband Paul Parsons; her sister Pam Pitney; and her brother-in-law Matthew Locke.

She is survived by: her son Anthony Parsons (Kathy) of Barbourville; her siblings, Connie Locke of Bimble and Josh Deborde (Jill) of Bimble; her grandchildren, Valerie Gray (Brent), Jake Bays (Emily) and Destiny Parsons Carr (Dakota); and her great grandchildren, Brayden, A. J. Parsons, Sophia, Luke and Granger Bays.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Roadside Baptist Church Youth in her memory.
