She was predeceased by: her sister Amanda R. Hines; and her grandfathers, Gary Hines and Melvin Baker. She is survived by: her parents, Johnny Hines and Wendy McCarley (Troy); her siblings, Tabatha McCarley, Robert Hines and Allen Barfield; her grandmothers, Elsie Chappell and Sheila Baker; and her friend Kalysta Coleman. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
