She is survived by : her husband Ben Hughes; her children, Wesley Hughes of Bardstown, Alexa Hughes of Bardstown and Jeffrey Hughes of Bardstown; and her siblings, Tony Veith (Tina) of Mount Airy, MD, Pat Veith of Waukesha, WI, Jimmy Veith of Rockville, MD, Johnny Veith (late Debby) of Rockville, MD, Theresa Montgomery (Don) of Alliance, OH, Billy Veith (Lisa) of Kensington, MD, Catherine Whalen (Joe) of Easton, MD, Margaret Mahar (Mike) of Jacksonville, FL, Danny Veith of Bethany Beach, DE, Barbara Cassidy of Kensington, MD, Bridget Wagner (Jamie) of Ellicott City, MD, Eileen Hoefer (Steve) of Silver Spring, MD and Susie Lively (John) of Chevy Chase, MD. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
