As Sue Carol departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sue Carol. Though Sue Carol may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Walter and Laverne Washburn Collins; and her husband James Brian "Jim" Hodge. She is survived by: her son Terry Hodge (Mary Helen) of Bardstown; her granddaughter Christy "Toni" Ashby (Mark) of Cox's Creek; her great grandchildren, Christian Blake and Kyler Mark Ashby; and her siblings, Bessie Collins of Bardstown, Fern Hutchins of Bardstown and Joseph W. Collins (Narelle) of Bardstown. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1475 New Shepherdsville Rd, Bardstown, KY 40004). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
