He was predeceased by : his parents, Murray Akers, Sr. and Joanne Lacefield Akers. He is survived by : his children, Kim Wilson of Clinton and Murray Jordan Akers, III of Mayfield; and his brother Erik Forrest Akers (Adriyel) of Bardwell. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 11th 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fort Jefferson Memorial (970 Jones Rd, La Center, KY 42056). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 11th 2021 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
