It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Archie Wathen of Beattyville, Kentucky, born in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew Boyd Wathen and Geraldine McGuire Bowman. He is survived by : his sons, Greg of Beattyville, KY and Byron Wathen of Beattyville, KY; his granddaughter Macy Amelia Wathen of Gray Hawk, KY; his siblings, Janice Stephens (Allan) of Florence, KY, Paul Wayne Wathen (Judy) of Beattyville, KY and Emily Wilson of Crittenden, KY; his niece Kristy Wathen-Pyles (Tom) of Dunedin, FL; and his nephews, Joe Wilson (Amanda) of Crittenden, KY. and Zach Wilson (Katie) of Crittenden, KY..
