He is survived by: his children, Darvin of Beattyville, Darrin of Beattyville, Russell Johnson of Beattyville and Rebecca Johnson of Irvine, Kentucky; and his sisters, Nancy Teagarden of Falmouth and Faye Stewart of Irvine. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
