We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2025, at the age of 91, Geneva Brandenburg (Beattyville, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elisha Webb and Dona Pittman Webb; her husband Caught; her siblings, Hazel Yunker, Rosie Tipton, Bert Turner, Roy Webb, Owen Webb and Odus Webb; and her grandson Joe Allen Slone.
She is survived by: her sister Judy Tipton (Calvin) of Irvine; her children, Melody Slone (Roger), Carolyn Slone and Junior Brandenburg (Karen); her grandchildren, Randy Brandenburg (Samantha) of Beattyville, Sherry Profit (John) of Beattyville, Crystal Brewer (Kenny) of Beattyville, Robert Couch (Tiffany) of Beattyville, Amy Couch Collins of Beattyville, Amber Brandenburg of Beattyville, Mikie Moore of Beattyville and Angie Slone of Richmond, Kentucky.; and her great grandchildren, Kelsey, Kamryn, Alex, Zeke, Jayden, Skylar, Hunter, Hallie, Harper, Cali, Ethan (Brianna), McKenzie, Brantley, Serena and Payton. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, friends, relatives and special neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Newnam Funeral Home Chapel (108 Center St, Beattyville, KY 41311). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
