It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Gear of Berea, Kentucky, born in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on February 21, 2021, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband James Billy Gear. She is survived by : her parents, Robert Wayne Johnson and Thelma Mae Johnson; her step-son Kevin Reinhardt (Shawn); her brother Ricky Wayne Johnson (Kim); her nephew Christopher Wayne Johnson (Ashley); her niece Shaina May Estep (Eric); and her great-nephew Kacen Wayne Johnson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 25th 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roberts & Powell Funeral Home (1110 Barnes Mill Rd, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 25th 2021 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 26th 2021 at 9:00 AM at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery (6580 Danville Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356).
