It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Nazaruk Batzel of Berea, Kentucky, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on June 29, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Nazaruk and Stefanie Jakimow Nazaruk; her husband Charles H. Batzel; and her son Charles Batzel. She is survived by : her daughters, Betty Jones (Clay) of Harvest, Diane Wood (Frank) of Winchester, KY and Stefanie Lugo (Jose) of Berea, KY. She is also survived by four sisters, seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
