He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gail Wright Gillis; his children, Leslie Booth (Carl) of Seffner, FL. and Gerald Lynn Gillis Jr (Diane); his sister Linda Whitworth of Shelbyville; and his grandchildren, Samantha Booth, Casey Booth, Celine Gillis and Nathan Gillis.
