With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alva Burba of Bonnieville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 18, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Burba and Minerva Meredith Burba; his wife Pauline; his sons, Garry Burba and Phillip Burba; and his siblings, Creed, Rosevelt (Clarence Burba), Millie Meredtih and Lissie Meredith (Alta Jaggers).

He is survived by: his daughter Wanda Burba-Lachalmelle; his daughter-in-law Kathy Burba; and his siblings, James Burba of Bonnieville, Tommy Burba of Sonora, Ollie Mabe of Bonnieville, Tiny Gaddie of Tampa, FL and Lena Mae Butler of Munfordville. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be given to Hosparus Health of Barren River, 101 Riverwood Ave., Ste. B, Bowling Green, KY 42103 or to the American Cancer Society.
