He was predeceased by : his parents, Marvin Sallee and Lola Bryant; his spouse Evette Embry; his son William Sallee, Jr.; his brother Roger Sallee; his grandmother Ella Sallee; and his stepmother Thelma Sallee.

He is survived by : his daughter Christy Sallee of Bonnieville, KY; and his siblings, Maevonna Galloway and Terry Sallee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
