It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Josephine Fleenor of Bowling Green, Kentucky, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ann Kathleen Suddath Mitchell and George Thompson Mitchell; her husband Francis Joseph Fleenor (Footsie); and her sister Georgeann Conner. She is survived by: her daughters, Maura Gerard (Don), Monica Fischer (Earl), Angie Basham (Steve) and Anita Fleenor-Ford (Hal Ford); her grandchildren, Denton Roberson, Brittany Roberson Nick Gerard (Adam), Emily Gerard Claybourn (Cole), Heath Ford (Caroline), Georgia Peyton Ford (Chanler), Sarah Basham, Lauren Basham and Jacob Fischer; and her great grandchildren, Cullen Gerard, Charlie Gerard and Keaton Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (4754 Smallhouse Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42104). A Mass will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the College Heights Foundation- Francis J. Fleenor Scholarship Fund.
