It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donnie Buttrum of Bowling Green, Kentucky, who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Felon Thomas and Minnie Bell Grimsley Bowles; her husband James Franklin Buttrum; her children, Jerry Allen Buttrum and Tawana Eleam; her son-in-law Jerry Coleman; her grandson David Eleam; her great grandchild Rylan Bunger; her grandson-in-law Brad Bunger; and her siblings, Jesse Bowles, Tommy Bowles, Felon Thomas Bowles, Jr., Leonia Witcher, Vinnie Farmer, Christine Jones and Herbert Bowles.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Coleman; her sisters, Betty Sue Dawes and Dee Bohon; her grandchildren, Shawn Coleman (Jennifer), Brian Coleman (Wendy), Renea Meador (Mark), Ronann Bunger and Joseph Eleam; and her great grandchildren, Shawn Coleman, II, Chloe Coleman, Hailey Coleman, Owen Coleman, Valerie Light (David), Samantha Meador, Briley Bunger, Brody Bunger and Bralyn Bunger. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home (901 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
