She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Rich (England) and Carlos Rich; her spouse Charlie McMillian; her children, Marilyn McMillian and Charles Tim McMillian; her brothers, James W. "Sonny" Rich and Bill Rich; and her brother-in-law Darrell McElroy.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Jones (Ricky) of Bowling Green, KY, Bonita Harper of Edmonton, KY and Billy Joe McMillian (Meloney) of Louisville, KY; her siblings, Brenda Halcomb (Roger) of Bowling Green, KY, Lou McElroy of Bowling Green, KY and Robert Rich (Pam) of Bowling Green, KY; and her sister-in-law Martha Rich of Scottsville, KY.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home (510 W 4th St, Tompkinsville, KY 42167). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Luella's memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
