With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma Blanton (Bowling Green, Kentucky), who passed away on September 15, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lonnie Hogan and Edna Bynum Hogan; her husband Elmer Blanton; her son Larry C. Blanton; and her siblings, Dorothy "Dottie" Conner, Buford, Ballard and Edward Hogan.

She is survived by : her son Michael Blanton (Joan) of Chalybeate; her daughter-in-law Signe Blanton of Chalybeate; her grandchildren, Michelle McCoy (Grant), Keith Ohlmer (Amy), Melissa Meinhardt (Billy), Patrick Blanton (Tonya) and Paul Blanton; and her brother-in-law Morris Blanton of Brownsville. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
