She was predeceased by : her parents, Stephen Hardesty and Georgia Mae Horton Hardesty; her daughter Robin; her brothers, Ronald, John Hardesty and Stephen Hardesty; and her half-siblings, Eva, Rudolph and Joe Pat.
She is survived by : her children, Rhonda Resel (Mike) of Taylorsville and Gary Matthews (Stephanie) of Brandenburg; her grandchildren, Benjamin Matthews (Nicole), Alexis Matthews and Gracie Matthews; her great grandchildren, Blakeley Matthews and Hannah Rose Eden; her stepgrandchildren, Alex Resel, Haley Resel, Dane Eden (Courtney), Bret Howell and Eden Howell; and her sisters, Clarice Griffith, Judith Fey (Joey), Brenda Ross (Steve) and Lavonia (Tom). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
