It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mickey Shaffer (Brodhead, Kentucky), born in Berea, Kentucky, who passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Bobby Shafer and Pete; his brother Billy Joe Shafer; his uncle Arnie; and his aunt Jean Wilmott.

He is survived by : his pet Mazie; his wife Rita Cash Shaffer; his son Jonah Mikhael Shaffer (Callie) of Mt. Vernon, KY; his grandchildren, Silas Shaffer, Celia Shaffer, Clara Shaffer and Corey Shaffer; and his siblings, Roger Shaffer of Brodhead, KY, Kathy Shafer of Brodhead, KY. and DeAnna Adams of Brodhead, KY..

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Mickey to the American Red Cross for the tornado victims of Western Kentucky.
