He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Carrier and Maggie Watt Carrier; and his siblings, Bobby Joe Carrier, William Cleo Carrier, Betty Jean Carrier and Charlene Stice Carrier.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Simmons Carrier; his son Marty Carrier of Boiling Springs; his sister Brenda Sue Richards; and his sister-in-law Vontella Carrier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
