We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2022, at the age of 81, George Woods of Buckhorn, Kentucky, born in Saul, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Rev. John Woods and America Carmack Woods; his wife Betty Woods; his daughter Rita Faye Woods; and his siblings, Felix, Chester, Dan Woods, Violet Ross and Helen Rice.

He is survived by : his children, Kerry Woods (Glenna) of Saul, KY, Sandra Lovins of Oneida, KY, Betty Harvey (Ronnie) of Clay Hole, KY and Lois J. Abner (George) of Saul, KY.; his sisters, Martha Gay of London, KY, Cassie Mills of Saul, KY, Emma Gay of Buckhorn, KY, Rachel Gay of Oneida, KY and Lavina Barger of Manchester, KY; his grandchildren, Timothy Woods (Jennifer), Joshua Couch (Jean), Jessica Caudill (Jerry), Georgina Collins (Claude), Jeremy Abner (Sheryl), Tonya Gipson, Kelsey Couch, Lindsey Abner and Ronnie Ray Harvey (Fern); and his close friends, Macy and Trixie. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and special pet.
