He was predeceased by: his brother Carl Lower; and his parents, Van Avery Lower and Flossie Stacy Lower. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Robinson Lower of Burna, KY; his children, Charles Avery Lower, Jr. (Ann) of Dickson, TN, Paul Andrew Lower (Robin) of New York, Patricia Bashor (Cory) and Deborah Lower; and his brother Robert V. Lower of Fulton, NY. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren.
