She was predeceased by: her parents, William Comer and Victoria Perkins Comer; her husband Larry Faires; her son-in-law Roland Smith; and her great grandchildren, Sadie Braden and Cassandra Braden.
She is survived by: her children, Victoria Powers-Smith of Cadiz, Rebecca Auflick (Bruce) of Cadiz, Valerie Braden of Tallahassee, FL, Karen Wilfong (Mark) of Dinwiddie, VA and Lane Powers (Evelyn) of Texarkana, AR; her stepsons, Charles Faires of Cadiz and Harley Faires (Melanie) of Gorham, ME; her sister Rita Cardwell of Vinton, OH; her grandchildren, Matthew Braden (Sherry), Andrea Auflick Shidler (Andy), Joey Auflick, Jessica Braden, Bridget Braden, Jami Wease (Jeff), Katie Wilfong, Luke Braden, Evelina Powers and Liam Powers; and her great grandchildren, Finn, Ava, Dillon, Veronica, Michael Ray, Jolene, Deandra, Wyatt, Lucas, Kingston, Jasmin, Josie and Josh. She is also survived by four great-great-grandchildren.
