With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elias Wade Timmons (Cadiz, Kentucky), who passed away on November 10, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Ruth Light and Lewis Wade Timmons; and his siblings, Harry, Margie Kirk-Sallee, Myrtlene Timmons and Ola T. Hite.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Gill Timmons; his children, Timothy Wade Timmons (Patti) of Jonesboro, GA, Jenny Timmons Fowler (Craig) of Lexington, KY and Cynthia Kaye Timmons Strickland (Tommy) of Statesboro, GA.; his grandchildren, Sean Timmons, Jennifer Timmons (Frank Parker), Dustin Garcia, Samantha Garcia, Michael Royal (Betsy), Megan Hasten (Jay), Jeremiah Strickland (Candace), Simon Strickland and Elias Strickland; and his great grandchildren, Kayden Garcia, Lena, Hannah Royal, Davisson, Samuel, Tucker Hasten and Griffin. He is also survived by siblings and relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Tucker Georgia, 5073 Lavista Rd., Tucker, GA 30084.
