He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clive Ellis and Dora Maud McLean Ellis; his wife Jimmie Elizabeth Ellis; and his siblings, Olen Ellis, Jack Ellis and Betty Davis.
He is survived by: his children, David Ellis (Penny) of Cadiz and Margot McIntosh (Dwain) of Murray; his grandchildren, Sarah Elyse Ellis of Clarksville, Tennessee and Kent Ellis McIntosh of Murray; his stepgrandchildren, Kevin McIntosh, Patti McIntosh of Murray and Laurie O'Bryan (Ernie) of Dexter; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hannah Rose O'Bryan of Dexter and James Cory White of Hazel.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a church of choice, or to Trigg County Public Schools Educational Foundation, designated for the Rev. Norman and Jimmie Ellis Memorial Fund, at P.O. Box 568, Cadiz, KY, 42211.
