He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Samuel John and Doris Ash Chope; and his siblings, John Chope and Sheila Parsons. He is survived by: his wife Diane Mead Chope of Cadiz; his sons, Kevin Robert Chope (Suzanne Kinsman) of Chicago and Andrew Julian Chope of Big Rock, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Brittany Nichole Chope and Ian Andrew Chope; his great grandchildren, Kaydence Story, Jeremiah Chope, Jay and Gardner; and his brother Andrew Gilmartin of England.
