She was predeceased by: her brothers, Neal Perrin and E. D. Perrin; and her parents, Lloyd Perrin and Emma Perrin. She is survived by: her husband J. C. Swinford; her children, Melanie Wiggins, Todd Swinford and Jay Swinford; and her sister Ann Wells. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to American Diabetes Association or a local food bank of your choice.
